Spaces

Compartmentalize users, templates and permissions by entity, subsidiary or department.

A space ("Space") is a sub-unit of your organization. It lets you separate users, templates and permissions — for example a subsidiary, a branch or a department. Each space works as a self-contained compartment inside the same organization, while sharing the same overall billing.

Why use spaces

  • Compartmentalize: each space has its own users and its own templates (profile page, signature, wallet).
  • Delegate: a Manager can administer one space without accessing the others.
  • Structure licenses and tracking per space.

If your organization is simple (a single brand, a single team), one space is more than enough.

Create and configure a space

  1. Open Organization settings → Spaces.
  2. Click Create a space and give it a name (e.g. "Lyon", "Sales", "Brand B").
  3. Attach the relevant users to it.
  4. Assign one or more Managers who will administer it.
  5. Configure the templates specific to this space if needed.

A screenshot of Organization settings → Spaces showing the "Create a space" button would help locate the action.

Switch between spaces

  • Use the space switcher at the top of the sidebar;
  • or go through My spaces.

The dashboard then only shows the data of the selected space (users, templates, statistics).

Example

A company with two subsidiaries creates two spaces: "Paris" and "Lyon". Each subsidiary has its lead as a Manager, its own users and its own dedicated email signature. Management, as Admin, can see both.

Troubleshooting

  • I don't see the space switcher. Your organization may have only a single space, or your plan may not include multiple spaces.
  • A user doesn't appear in my space. Check that they are actually attached to it; a user may belong to a different space.
  • A Manager can't edit a user. Confirm that the user and the manager are in the same space (see Users & roles).

Good to know

  • The availability of multiple spaces depends on your plan. An organization can run with a single space.
  • Spaces compartmentalize data; billing is still managed at the organization level.
  • To segment within a space (without compartmentalizing permissions), use groups and tags instead.
  • See the definition in the Glossary.
