Organization & team

Manage your ECARD organization, its spaces, its users and their permissions.

This section covers how to administer your ECARD account: who can access what, how to structure your team, and how to segment your data. It's the starting point for any administrator setting up ECARD for their company.

Organization settings

The organization is your main account (your company). It brings together all users, templates, contacts and settings, and it's the level at which billing is managed.

From Organization settings, you administer:

  • General information — the organization's name and logo;
  • Admins — the people who access the dashboard, each with a role (see Users & roles);
  • Spaces — to compartmentalize by subsidiary, branch or department;
  • Billing — plan, licenses and payment methods;
  • Security — including access authorization for ECARD support.

Tip: the organization's name and logo appear across several materials (invitations, previews). Fill them in right at setup time.

How the key concepts fit together

To get started, it helps to distinguish four building blocks:

  1. Users — the people who carry a card, a profile, a signature or a wallet.
  2. Spaces — sub-units that compartmentalize users, templates and permissions.
  3. Groups & tags — to bring together and segment users.
  4. Entities — to manage several brands within a single organization.

Key topics

Good to know

  • Who can administer the organization? Only the Owner and Admin roles can access billing settings and integrations.
  • Is a single organization enough? Yes. Multiple spaces are optional and depend on your plan — an organization can run with a single space.
  • Where do I find a term's definition? See the Glossary for "organization", "space", "entity", "group", and more.
