Card templates
Design the front/back artwork of your NFC cards in the editor, with variables and print best practices.
A card template defines the printed artwork (front/back) of your NFC cards. You create it once, then reuse it for every order.
Create a template
- Open NFC Cards.
- Create a new template: you enter the card editor.
- Compose the front and the back: logo, name, job title, colors, QR code.
- Preview the front/back result.
- Save — the template is ready to use when ordering.
The editor is visual (drag-and-drop). You can use variables (name, job title, company…) so that each printed card automatically pulls in the relevant user's information.
Example: you place the name variable and the job-title variable on the front. At order time, one card for "Camille Martin, Sales Manager" and another for "Alex Dupont, Designer" are generated from the same template.
Common variables
Insert dynamic fields that fill from each user's profile, for example:
- the first name and last name;
- the job title (role);
- the company;
- the card's QR code.

Best practices
- Keep enough contrast between the text and the background for printing.
- Place the QR code in a clear area to make scanning easy.
- Leave a neutral zone on the back for the QR and the activation note.
- Prefer a logo with a transparent background to suit the card's color.
- Avoid placing an important element at the edge (print safety margin).
Troubleshooting
- My variable appears literally on the card → the matching information may be empty in the user's profile; complete the profile.
- The QR is hard to scan → increase its size, clear the area around it and strengthen its contrast with the background.
- Printed colors differ from the screen → the screen is backlit; rely on the preview and avoid overly light shades.
