Wallet

ECARD Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards, always up to date in the phone.

A Wallet card is a digital version of your business card that lives in Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android). It's always available in the phone and updates automatically, with nothing for the recipient to do.

What it contains

  • Your logo and colors.
  • Text fields (name, job title, company…).
  • A QR code that, when scanned, opens your profile, your vCard or a link (see Modes & QR code).

Why use it

  • Always at hand, with no physical card to carry.
  • Real-time updates: a change to information or design flows to wallets already installed.
  • Great alongside the NFC card: people scan your QR even when you don't have your card on you.

In short

  1. You design a wallet template (logo, colors, fields, QR).
  2. You assign it to users, groups or tags.
  3. Each person adds their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  4. The cards then update automatically.

A screenshot of the card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet shows users the final result nicely.

Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?

The card is added to Apple Wallet on iPhone and to Google Wallet on Android. The install link or QR detects the device: open it from the phone you want to add the card to.

Good to know

  • Wallet availability depends on your plan. See Subscription.
  • The wallet's QR code is stable: its destination is set by the mode and can change without reissuing the card.

Key points

Troubleshooting

  • Can't add the card: open the link from the right device (iPhone → Apple Wallet, Android → Google Wallet) and the default browser.
  • The card doesn't update: open it in the Wallet and check that the profile is up to date.
