Profile page
Your customizable public page, shared via NFC card, QR code, wallet or link.
Your profile page is your online business card. It's what opens when someone taps your NFC card (in Profile mode), scans your wallet QR code, or opens your share link. It gathers everything a person needs to contact and save you, all at a single address.
What it looks like
A profile page typically shows:
- your identity: photo (or logo), name, job title, company;
- your contact details: email, phone number(s), website, address;
- your social links: LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp…;
- a save-contact button that offers your vCard;
- where relevant, a contact form and Campaign banners.
It's reachable through a short address based on your handle, for example
my.ecardnfc.fr/jean-dupont.
Tip: a screenshot of your page is worth a thousand words — test it on mobile, where it will be viewed most.
How people open your page
The same profile page can be reached in several ways:
- NFC card in Profile mode: tap the card against the phone.
- QR code: printed on the card, shown on screen or in the wallet.
- Link: shared by email, in a signature or on social media.
- Wallet: from the card added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Customization
You design the page in a no-code visual editor (drag-and-drop blocks), with variables that automatically fill in each person's information. A single template can therefore serve an entire team. See Page editor.
One template, the whole team
Like other ECARD assets, a profile page is a template you assign to users, groups or tags. Everyone gets their own page, fed by their profile data: when a user updates their information, their page updates on its own.
Good to know
- The page is always up to date: it's generated from the profile, with no manual re-editing.
- You control who can access it through visibility (public, unlisted, private).
- The page is responsive: it adapts to mobile and desktop alike.
Key points
- Page editor — blocks, layout, theme.
- Visibility — public, unlisted, private.
- Contact form — capture leads.
- Contact files (vCard) — the "Save my contact" button.
Troubleshooting
- The scan opens the wrong page or nothing at all: check the mode of the card or wallet. See Troubleshooting · Card and Troubleshooting · Wallet.
- A change doesn't show up: refresh the page and make sure the profile is saved. See Troubleshooting.
- The page shows an unavailable message on direct access: it's probably set to private visibility. See Visibility.
